The design follows traditional Cycladic curves but introduces sharp modern lines that frame the Aegean in every room. Interiors are white on white, warmed by natural stone — restrained and precise. The result is a villa that smells of wild thyme, faces the open Aegean, and feels less like something built than something that grew here. The gardens are Mediterranean and carefully considered. The atmosphere is unhurried from the moment you arrive.
The interiors use lime-wash finishes and natural wood — warm, soft, and deliberately unhurried. Every room opens outward. There are no hard transitions between inside and outside, which means the sound of the water and the light off the Aegean become a constant presence rather than something you step out to find.
One of the few properties on the island with a private staircase leading directly to the sea, Casa Gaia offers something genuinely rare — the water as part of the property rather than a view of it.
